Market for a Cause

The Lake Nona Back to Nature Farmer's Market is a market for a cause. When you shop this market not only are you supporting the local businesses that provide you with a wonderful selection of items, you are also supporting the Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge and Education Center. Market vendors pay rent to have a space at each market, generally, this goes to the market manager on a weekly or monthly basis. The Lake Nona Farmer's Market rent is paid each week as a donation directly to Back to Nature. The mission of the Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge is to rescue, raise, rehabilitate, and release injured or orphaned Florida native species and to provide education about respecting and preserving the environment through our non-releasable permanent residents known as “educational ambassadors”.
